That's racist and you should be deported.
Oh, and you should pay compensation to a person of color.

What a load of rubbish. My kid's school is well aware of it, as they have got special stuff going on, non-uniform day. Loads of people know it's St George's Day.

National Saints are weird thing. We have a Turkish born Roman centurion and the Irish have an English born priest.

William Shakespeare was born and died on this day.
It's a wonder he managed to produce such a great body of work in so little time.

Constantly pointing out what a cunt you are Swiss is very valued on this site, if you wasn't so self obsessed you'd notice that.
PS. Try to type slower when you throw a hissy fit, you make more sense and don't come over so mincey.

I'd say the vast majority of people (including me) don't give a shit about any patron saint days.
Make it a Bank Holiday, and I might start giving a fuck.

St George was Greek, not Turkish.

Actually I wasn't aware, aside from a very brief mention on BBC Breakfast this morning.
I'd imagine St David's day and St Andrew's day both get more of a mention. Obviously St Paddy's does- although I suspect that's just more because the Americans celebrate it and it's a piss up rather than anything else.
It's pretty sad that it's almost had to become something we can't celebrate or talk about with the connotations that have somehow become synonymous with the day and also the flag for the most part, outside of sporting events.

Celebrating Saint’s days in England went out with the monks, monasteries and everything else that has THE RANK STENCH OF POPERY about it.

Never much saw the point in nationalism ...where your born is pretty much by random chance, but enjoy your flag waving if it makes you feel.better.

I suppose that makes you feel quite superior coming out with that supetcilious bollox. And nobody needs your fucking permission to celebrate our country.
